Streaming Video
To view the streaming video, you must have:
1) a high-speed internet connection, and
2) the latest version of QuickTime.
Steps for viewing streaming video:
1) If required, download QuickTime (opens a new browser window) and install it. Then return to this page.
2) Click the following link : Sample Video. If QuickTime has been properly installed, it will start and display a sample high-speed streaming movie. If you see a series of animations of the QuickTime logo and hear a repeating set of tones, skip to step 5).
3) If you get an error message or experience other problems, check the connection settings of QuickTime and that you have a high-speed internet connection (DSL or better). If you still have problems, consult your IT manager or jstrom@ciw.edu.
4) About five minutes before the lecture is scheduled to begin click the refresh button on your browser, then click the link immediately below.
If you do not have a high-speed internet connection, a low-speed on-demand version of the lecture will be available a day or so after the lecture, along with a high-speed on-demand version.
