Named Endowed Funds
Starting with Andrew Carnegie’s gift to create an endowment for the Carnegie Institution in 1902, many generous benefactors have stepped forward to create endowed funds at Carnegie. Endowed funds enable the institution’s scientists to operate at the cutting edge of their fields and to make important discoveries for the benefit of humankind.
