Research Interests:

Subjects of Interest- early Earth differentiation processes, chemical evolution of the mantle, formation of the continental lithosphere, geochemical constraints on the oceanic mantle.

Main tools- high-temperature geochemistry, petrogenesis of igneous and metamorphic rocks, trace element distribution, radiogenic/stable isotopes, plasma and thermal ionization mass spectrometry.

Active projects- Re-Os ages on sulfide inclusions in diamonds; eclogite xenolith age and petrogenesis; Archean komatiites; BIF-hosted gold; halogens, volatiles and B isotopes in mid-ocean ridge basalts.
